Can a family member deliver a care package of essential items to a student in isolation/quarantine?

February 19, 2021

Yes, a family member can drop off one bag of essential items that a student needs while in isolation or quarantine. Please note that a student in isolation or quarantine will be allowed to receive such a delivery just one time while in that space. We want to limit foot traffic as much as possible while students are isolating or quarantining for the health and safety of University Housing staff, as well as residents and their families.

Here are guidelines for drop-off:

  • Items must be packed in one bag.
  • Drop off the bag between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the service desk of the building where the student is in isolation or quarantine.
  • The student’s first and last name must be printed or displayed clearly on the bag for delivery.
