Environmental Internship Scholarship Application Form

Please complete this form to apply for the Environmental Internship Scholarship for Summer 2019. A $1,250 scholarship is available.

The application deadline for the Summer 2019 semester is 11:59:59 pm on Monday, April 1, 2019.

The criteria are:

  • Completion of a 3-credit internship at an organization with an environmental science or conservation mission during Spring 2019 or Summer 2019
  • Enrollment in the Conservation and Environmental Science program at UWM (major or minor)
  • Demonstrated academic achievement (minimum 2.75 GPA)
  • Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need as shown on the FAFSA

    If your answer is "no", your application cannot be considered.
    If you are not eligible to fill out a FAFSA to demonstrate financial need, please contact Assistant Dean Deanna Alba at dsalba@uwm.edu regarding other ways you can document financial need. All individuals who are eligible to complete a FAFSA must complete a FAFSA as the method to demonstrate financial need.

    • A description of your professional goals after college
    • A description of your internship, including the organization it will be with or was with, and your responsibilities
    • A narrative about how your internship will help you achieve your academic and professional goals.
