That way you can take advantage of program advising in planning the best sequence of upper-level courses.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Declare a Comparative Ethnic Studies Major<\/h2>\n<p>To declare a Committee Interdisciplinary Major in Comparative Ethnic Studies, you will need to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fill out and submit the <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button declareMajorButton btn-xxlarge\" href=\"https:\/\/ls-apps.ad.uwm.edu\/secure\/declaration\/major\/prod\/index.php?departmentFilter=ethnic-studies\">Declaration of Major Form \u00bb<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Initial Advising Appointment to Declare the Major<\/h2>\n<p>The next step is to make an appointment with the Program Director by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:jbwalzer@uwm.edu\">jbwalzer@uwm.edu<\/a>. You <strong><em>are required<\/em><\/strong> to make an appointment.
