September 13 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This is a job fair for students eligible for federal work-study. At the fair students can meet employers from across all sectors of employment in the Milwaukee area. Through the CLIP program, UWM students work with community partners in part-time internship positions with wages supplemented by federal work-study dollars. The work experiences in this program are enhanced by an on-campus learning component.

Typically, students in the program work between 10 to 15 hours per week for an entire academic year, and earn between $12 and $15.00 per hour. Students must be eligible for federal work-study to participate in the program. The goal of the program is not only to provide students with an opportunity to earn their work-study award, but also seeks to provide a learning experience that prepares students for future careers and develops a sense of civic responsibility.

Students should RSVP to event using the form below, review current job openings on the CLIP website, and complete an application before attending. The application can be found at this link.
