The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership, and Research (CCBLLR) partners with the community to inspire students, faculty, and staff to engage in activities that foster enduring personal and social change.
SUPPORTING US MEANS:
Sponsoring a student to provide an equal opportunity to all students to attend our Alternative Spring Break Service Trip, where they will gain a better understanding of Appalachian history, culture, communities, and engage in service at various non-profit agencies.
Supporting our Virtual Tutoring Program and Big Brothers Big Sisters Program means making a difference in the lives of kids by providing academic and social support to elementary and secondary students to support their education and holistic growth.
By supporting our Student Artist in Residence Program, you will increase the great impact that intergenerational relationships and creative expression has on older adults and our students.
Supporting our Community Leaders Internship Program means creating more opportunities for work-study eligible students that prepares them for future careers while developing a sense of civic responsibility through internships at nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and businesses in the Milwaukee metro area.
By supporting the Hope House Food Pantry and The Gathering Meal Program, you will alleviate the negative affects of poverty by helping those in the community who would otherwise go hungry.
Supporting our Panther Response Team means serving agencies and non-profit organizations that support individuals and communities as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters.
We sincerely appreciate all of your support! If you have questions about ways you can help CCBLLR, please do not hesitate to contact us.
