Amy Thomson, MS CRC, is currently a Research Services Manager on the Center for Inclusive Transition, Education and Employment team. As a Research Services Manager she manages the Wisconsin Work Innovation and Opportunities Act Career Interview, Information and Resources project between CITEE and the Department of Workforce Development. She also continues to conduct career interviews by meeting with people with disabilities from around the state who are working in subminimum wage employment. She also provides support and planning for other projects and conferences as needed.

Amy has been working with people with disabilities her entire career with specific areas of interest including work incentive benefits planning, asset development strategies, and increasing inclusive employment opportunities. Her experience includes being an Associate Outreach Specialist/Career Interviewer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, a work incentive benefits specialist and trainer in Wisconsin, an Employment Policy Analyst as a contracted University of Wisconsin-Stout employee for the Department of Health Services, and job coaching.

Amy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in Psychology and went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
