Our bilingual staff engage in the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet on a regular basis with students throughout the semester to ensure they stay on track and build skills to achieve their goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist students to fully engage by providing referrals to campus resources, including academic advising, mental health counseling, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and conduct outreach regarding students\u2019 engagement with campus resources, ensuring referrals are utilized.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support students\u2019 basic understanding of university policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-notice uwm-p-notice--info\"><i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-info fa-fw\"><\/i><div class=\"uwm-p-notice--content\"><div class=\"uwm-p-notice--message\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> At UWM, students have a variety of individuals available for support, all with the goal of supporting students throughout their collegiate journey. While there is some overlap in skills and responsibilities, each of the roles listed below function differently to support students.
