{"id":1652,"date":"2024-09-23T12:32:13","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T17:32:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/community-empowerment-institutional-inclusivity\/?page_id=1652"},"modified":"2026-05-15T13:15:59","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T18:15:59","slug":"latine-heritage-month","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/community-empowerment-institutional-inclusivity\/services\/roberto-hernandez-center\/latine-heritage-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Latine Heritage Month"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Latine Heritage Month (LHM) at UWM is coordinated by a team of campus stakeholders offering a variety of programs that recognize and celebrate the history, culture and contributions of people of Latine, Afro-Latine, Chicane, Latin American, Caribbean, Spanish and Indigenous descent in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Latinx Heritage Month has been observed from\u00a0<strong>September 15th to October 15th<\/strong>\u00a0in the U.S. since 1988.
