The Harbor District is located at the confluence of the Milwaukee and Kinnickinnic Rivers. The District is the geographic link between the city’s central business district and dense urban neighborhoods to the south and southwest. Once a thriving industrial area, it is home to the Port of Milwaukee and other civic infrastructure. CDS has provided a variety of illustrations to show how the district might be redeveloped, from redeveloped vacant parcels to waterfront plazas and pedestrian connections.
