Lead with impact.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"uwm-u-mb-0 lead-in\">Strong communication skills are consistently named by employers across all industries as one of the top three attributes they look for in employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"default\">UWM&#8217;s communication program covers the&nbsp;theory, history, ethics and practice of communication in different settings. Graduates learn how to communicate effectively, analyze and assess communication systems and structures, and identify solutions to communication problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"default\">Communication can be oral, written, nonverbal or visual, and we address them all in our coursework. Our curriculum broadly covers&nbsp;interpersonal, intercultural, small group, organizational, instructional, mediated, and rhetorical\/public communication.
