The Randy and Joanna Parlee scholarship fund was established to provide support and recognition for students who excel in the study of Communication. The award is given to a declared Communication major with demonstrated academic merit.
Qualified students will:

• be a declared undergraduate Communication major at UWM
• have a minimum of one complete semester of enrollment remaining before graduation
• have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• have demonstrated academic merit overall and within the Communication field
• go to the UWM scholarship portal to start a profile and apply for funding

Students will be selected based on academic merit, quality of an original essay submitted as part of the application, and potential for benefit if selected for the scholarship.

The application cycle for this scholarship generally occurs once per year in November.
