In February,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2021\/02\/28\/971325620\/a-chapter-in-u-s-history-often-ignored-the-flight-of-runaway-slaves-to-mexico\"> NPR shared an article<\/a> focusing more on the American side of this initial migration, discussing life on either side of the Texas-Mexico border.
