The original focused on the Maya cultural revitalization movement shortly after the Guatemalan Peace Accords. The sequel looks at the Maya Movement now, given the 20th anniversary of the Accords. Filming was completed in summer 2015 and the documentary is now available at <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/clacs\/el-futuro-maya-ii\/\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/clacs\/el-futuro-maya-ii\/ <\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The final product takes the form of a website with video modules built around themes such as identity, language, development, discrimination, and visions for the future.
