Education Abroad Week (EAW) is taking place Tuesday, September 7 through Friday, September 10, 2021. Below you will find a schedule of live sessions hosted by the CIE team and UWM partners, as well as pre-recorded sessions from study abroad program providers from across the globe, and study abroad student alumni.

EAW is FREE and open to the public. If you require an accommodation, please contact CIE at overseas@uwm.edu

A few reminders to keep in mind about the schedule below: 

  • The schedule is updated frequently so check back for more information. 
  • All times are in Central Standard Time (CST). Links to the sessions will be active 24 hours prior to the day of the scheduled session. 
  • Be considerate when joining a live session. Please mute yourself upon entering a session so that any feedback or background noise is avoided.

This session is a great resource for students that are looking to learn more about study abroad costs, understand the budgets of programs, how financial aid can be used for study abroad, as well as general information on how to search for scholarships and other funding resources.

Learn from current Global Studies students what internationally-focused internships are really like: how to find them: virtual or in person, how to prepare, and what the forecast is for international internships this school year.  Join is for this informal conversation and Q & A about all things internships!
