Brooke Thomas

Brooke Thomas is Associate Director for International Faculty/Scholar Services in the Center for International Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Brooke's primary focus is H1B, J1 Scholars, TN, E3, O1 and PERM. An active, engaged professional, Brooke has been involved with regional and national NAFSA as conference and workshop presenter, government liaison, and has served as the NAFSA Region V Regulatory Ombudsperson for both Scholars and Students. In addition to expertise in immigration, Brooke has experience in international admissions and has recruited students in Asia and in the Persian Gulf. Brooke is an executive board member for StudyWisconsin. Brooke earned her MA and is ABD in English and Modern Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and holds a BA with Honors from the University of California-Berkeley. Brooke grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived and worked in Austria, Canada, England, Italy, and Spain.
