Previously Attended:
Drake University (2011-2015)
Why I like Chemistry:
Studying chemistry gives me a greater understanding of the world we live in and there is always something new to learn.
Why I chose the Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at UW-Milwaukee:
UWM has intelligent faculty members and good resources that are able to help me further my career as a chemist. I'm also from the Milwaukee area so it is nice to be near my family.
Favorite things to do in Milwaukee:
I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible; camping, kayaking, and going to the beach are a few of my favorite activities.
Research Goal:
To develop and characterize compounds that selectively interact with the vitamin D receptor and are traceable both in vitro and in vivo.
