This fall, we welcomed our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/vlc60j\/n3km6db\/rirodv\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">largest first-year class in 17 years<\/a>, a reflection of the confidence students and families have in the value of a UWM education.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Campus came alive during Fall Welcome with programs and events designed&nbsp;to&nbsp;help new students find their place, reconnect returning students with the Panther community, and set them up for a successful year ahead. The video below captures some of that excitement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Friday, I will have the honor of being inaugurated as UWM\u2019s 10th chancellor on the university\u2019s 70th anniversary. It is a meaningful moment&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate UWM\u2019s remarkable history while looking ahead&nbsp;to&nbsp;an even brighter future.
