Chancellor’s Update: State of the University Meeting on January 27

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Please join me and others for a State of the University update meeting from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27. So much has shifted since last year at this time. I will provide updates on:

  • UWM, UW System and State budgets
  • COVID-19
  • Successes, challenges, and 2030 planning and work
To answer your questions following my updates, I will be joined by Provost Johannes Britz, Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administrative Affairs Robin Van Harpen, Vice Chancellor for Global Inclusion & Engagement Joan Prince, Chief Student Affairs Officer Kelly Haag, and Co-Leads of the 2030 Implementation Team: Vice Provost for Research Mark Harris, Distinguished Professor, University Committee Chair Kathleen Dolan, and others.

How to Ask a Question
As we look to the future, UWM and all of higher education face significant changes. Your input and questions as we proceed are valued. Hence, we invite your suggestions and questions, which can be shared in advance or asked online during the live State of the University meeting. Send questions and suggestions here. When submitting please indicate whether you would prefer to remain anonymous.
