This session will demonstrate how AI can transform your teaching by serving in four crucial capacities: as a personal assistant to handle administrative tasks, as a coach for acquiring new skills, as a tool to boost student engagement through personalized and differentiated materials, and finally, as a digital editor to refine educational content and communication.


Strategies for Ensuring Accessibility in Canvas

This training will review concepts and tools in Canvas for making curriculum accessible and will provide hands-on activities to apply what you learn in your own Canvas course sites. Be sure to bring your laptop.

Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT)

Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) assists instructors with designing and implementing assignments to improve student success and engagement. TILTed assignments give students the tools to see how they are learning. Register here to learn more about TILT, the benefits to students and a chance to redesign an existing assessment using the TILT Framework.


Inclusive Teaching Book Club

Sign-up for CETL’s three part book club on Inclusive Teaching: Strategies for Promoting Equity in the College Classroom.

Authors Kelly Hogan (Biology) and Viji Sathy (Statistics) provide a framework for how structure enhances student learning, engagement, and inclusion. They provide practical strategies for group work and class activities, holding office hours, communicating with students, and more.

Limited spaces are available. You must commit to all three book club meetings to receive a free copy of the book.
