What is the 2016 UW System Learning Technology Virtual Conference?
The Learning Technology Virtual Conference, organized by the UW System Learning Technology Development Council, is a two-day event with educational sessions from instructors and professional staff across the University of Wisconsin system. This year’s theme is The Wisconsin Idea – Improving Lives Beyond the Classroom. The topics range from Student Engagement; Faculty Development; Hot Topics; and How-to & Resources.

The Virtual Learning Technology Conference offers 2 keynote speakers plus 30 session options without any travel or lodging expenses. Attend right from your office or home. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. The conference is free!
The keynote sessions will be on Rich Media in Teaching and Learning: What is it, and how can you use it right now? (Steve Covello) and Preparing for Higher Education’s Future Students: Trends in K-12 Education (Richard Byrne). There will be 3 session choices for each of the 5 sessions on both days.
