  • Copilot Chat is a versatile chat assistant built into Microsoft 365.

  • Copilot Chat based on OpenAI’s GPT-4o and GPT-5.

  • It integrates with Edge, Outlook, Teams and University-managed Windows computers.

  • Copilot Chat can be used on iOS and Android devices.
  • General knowledge and research using the web

Adobe Firefly

  • Firefly is Adobe’s Cloud AI platform for images, video, and audio production.

  • Firefly uses AI created by Adobe and other business partners using licensed information.

  • Adobe Firefly is accessible from the web, and from inside many Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

  • The Firefly website may be used on iOS and Android devices. Some features are available in apps made for mobile devices.
  • Create images, audio and video from text prompts

  • Remove and add elements from images (via Adobe Express)

  • Create personal avatars which speak using AI

Canvas Discussion Summarization

  • Provides a summary of discussion activity in a topic, and additional
  • Canvas generates a brief summary of responses to a given topic.

  • Instructors may ask questions to gain further insights.

Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant

  • Ask questions about your PDF documents
  • PDFs with text and other information can be queried by asking Adobe Acrobat Pro to respond.

Windows 11 Image and Text Generation

  • Microsoft Copilot-integrated apps in Windows 11 allow users to work with images, and generate text without additional services.
  • Blur backgrounds and erase image elements with AI
  • Image generation in Microsoft Paint
  • Draft text in Notepad

AI Tools in Microsoft Edge

  • Copilot Chat and other features are integrated into Microsoft Edge
  • Sign-in to Edge with your UWM Digital Identity.
  • Highlight text, then right-click and “Ask Copilot” to get contextual information on the text in the page.
  • Click the Copilot button to open M365 Copilot Chat in the sidebar. Ask questions about the page you are on.
  • YouTube videos can be dubbed live to English from Spanish or Korean. Select the Translate Audio button by hovering over YouTube videos.
