Phosphorus: Lessons from 10+ Years of Numeric Standards for Wisconsin’s Waters

The Center for Water Policy hosted a statewide conference at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI on phosphorus to learn from various perspectives about how numeric phosphorus standards have been implemented in Wisconsin. Agency representatives presented an overview of phosphorus regulations, academic speakers presented on various phosphorus-related research projects, and regulated entities, producers, and farmers presented case studies on their phosphorus management experiences.

Featured Keynote Speaker: Dan Egan

New York Times best selling author Dan Egan also spoke about his forthcoming book, The Devil’s Element: Phosphorus and a World Out of Balance.
