Save the Date for James Joyce’s The Dead

The holiday spirit continues on Sunday, December 10th at 3:00pm with the reading of James Joyce’s famous short story The Dead. Set at a Christmas party in the home of the writer’s aunts, the story famously captures the hospitality of a Dublin Christmas in times past. Read by Milwaukee Irish Arts, this event is taking place at the County Clare on 1234 N Astor St. Celebrate the holiday season with a bit of Celtic flair! This event is free and open to the public.

“Man of Aran” with Live Musical Score

Join CCS and Milwaukee Irish Arts Thursday, December 7th at 7:30pm at the County Clare in the Joyce Room for a screening of the classic film ‘Man of Aran’. Noted Irish Traditional musicians will accompany the film with a live score. This event is free and open to the public.
