Request A New Non-Credit Canvas Course

About this Form

This form enables instructors and administrative staff to request a new Canvas course. This form cannot be used to request a for-credit course. For assistance with for-credit courses, contact your department or program's Schedule-of-Classes Builder.

Instructions

1. Enter your name, your UWM email, and note your division, department, or academic program.
2. Specify the type of course.
3. If you are inheriting a previous instructor's course, provide the necessary information.
4. Select how students will be enrolled in the course. A Canvas Admin will follow-up to consult regarding enrollment options.
5. Provide the desired name for the course, and any other details Canvas Administrators may be able to use to best support your need and the use of the course.
6. Select the kind of assistance you would like to use the requested course.
