Local-Digital-Public Community Roundtable

Apr 3, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Project Local-Digital-Public is a C21 Collaboratory that examines how public discourse can remobilize civic action and rejuvenate academic thought. LDP is a social justice project that seeks to hear residents of Sherman Park and Washington Park speak back, speak out, and be heard.

Milwaukee residents are invited on April 3 at 1:00 to come hear two community scholars talk about the work they do in their communities. Camille Mays (Sherman Park Community Association) and Christie Melby-Gibbons (Tricklebee Café) will discuss their experiences as leaders and organizers in their local communities
