The BLM x BLM discussion group will be hosting a special session with guest speakers Daniel Martinez HoSang (Associate Professor of Ethnicity Race and Migration and American Studies at Yale) and Joseph E. Lowndes (Professor of Political Science at University of Oregon).

You can join the meeting on Zoom (no need to register in advance).

All participants are invited to read a suggested chapter from their book Producers, Parasites, Patriots: Race and the New Right-Wing Politics of Precarity. The chapter, “State Abandonment and Militia Revolt: White Occupation, Native Land, and Black Lives” (PDF), directly influenced the formation and central questions being explored by the BLM x BLM group.

BLM x BLM
BLM x BLM is a monthly discussion group that explores the question: what does the Bureau of Land Management have to do with Black Lives Matter? This is part of their series of discussions held virtually on the second Wednesday of each month. (Learn more about BLM x BLM)
