C21 is seeking a graduate student Photography Fellow for the 2019-20 academic year. The Fellow will attend and photograph all Center lectures, helping us to document the intellectual life of C21 and the UWM campus. This fellowship comes with a $1500 honorarium.
The Fellow must be a current UWM graduate student and must be able to attend all C21 lectures (Fridays at 3:30 pm; view our fall schedule). The Fellow must also be proficient in file handling and photo processing in Photoshop or similar software, as needed. The Fellow must also occasionally work with C21 staff to update our website or other materials with event photos. The Fellow does not need to provide their own camera equipment, although they may choose to use their own camera if they wish.
To apply, submit the following to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 pm on Thursday, September 26:
- A one-page, single spaced letter of interest describing your graduate work at UWM, your photography practice, and how the Fellowship will help you reach your scholarly, artistic, and/or professional goals
- A portfolio of a maximum of ten photographs (embedded in a PDF)
