Investment firms and individual investors assess their risk position, investment portfolio, and investment strategies to maximize their returns and meet their financial objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you choose to concentrate in corporate finance or investment finance at the Lubar College, you will gain an understanding of business and the economy, the functions of financial institutions and capital markets, and investment and borrowing instruments. You\u2019ll learn how to use data and technology as tools to evaluate and make the best financial decisions. And you\u2019ll think \u201cbig picture\u201d to evaluate investment decisions that serve the long-term objectives of your company or client \u2013 not just their short-run interests.<\/p>\n\n\n
