He is the founder and CEO of Wearable Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tou Him Lee (&#8217;19 BBA) received a <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/2026-alumni-awards-evening-winners-are-making-an-impact\/\">2026 UWM Alumni Association GOLD Award<\/a> for his career advancement. He is the director of operations and communication at the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, where he first joined as an intern in 2016. He now leads the multimillion-dollar organization\u2019s infrastructure, branding and business workshops in support of entrepreneurs across Wisconsin. He\u2019s also the founder of Nova Boba, a galaxy-themed boba\/beverage business, and the co-founder of Our Scholarship, a nonprofit that supports Hmong and Southeast Asian students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary Ellen Stanek (\u201984 MBA), CFA, is among the Milwaukee Business Journal&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/milwaukee\/news\/2026\/02\/11\/unveiling-the-2026-power-players.html\">Power Player Pillars list<\/a>, which includes those individuals who&nbsp;were named&nbsp;Power Players every year over the past decade.&nbsp;She is the chief investment officer emeritus at Baird Asset Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deepak Arora (\u201922 EMBA) received the 2026 UWM Alumni Association Impact Award for his wearable devices that scans environments for danger and alerts caregivers about potential accidents before they happen.
