Gain from the powerful connection you can make with a professional mentor.
The Multicultural Mentoring Program (MMP) connects diverse and first generation business junior and senior students with business professionals to help you gain from their knowledge and career experiences. The MMP will match you with a mentor for the academic year. You are expected to meet with your mentor regularly – for lunch, a cup of coffee, or in your mentor’s office – so that you can talk about your school work, getting your foot in the door at companies, and making the transition from school to professional life.
As part of the program, you’ll also benefit from:
- Eligibility for a $500.00 scholarship. (Scholarship is not automatic with participation in the program. Additional requirements may apply.)
- MMP Orientation – Meet your mentor and learn “best practices” on how to make the most of your mentor relationship.
- Networking Forums – Network with all of the mentors and mentees in the program, and hear from an inspiring guest speaker about success in business.
- Workshops – Learn about various career-related topics. Past workshop topics have included: Dress for Success, Communication, Presentation Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Skills, etc..
Students: View video testimonials of current MMP students to hear first-hand accounts about what the program has to offer! If you’re an interested junior or senior business student, apply through this form.
Business professionals: Please complete a mentor application.
