The Lubar School’s Strategic Leadership Series begins its next cohort in late October. The series is aimed at mid- to upper-level executives (senior manager, director level) who lead one or more teams, have P&L responsibility, and are responsible for creating or executing company or unit strategy.
What is unique about this leadership development program is its emphasis on immediate application, says Michael Markiewicz, Director of Executive Programs.
Over the course of the program, participants identify a specific challenge in their own workplace, create a strategy to address that challenge, and take steps to implement the strategy to make an immediate impact on the organization, receiving feedback throughout from our expert faculty, he says.
“I am extremely impressed with the amount of confidence gained by those in our company who have participated in the program,” said Michael Jones, Director of Technical Service at Alto Shaam. “Our managers have developed an enhanced ability to think strategically, lead change, and receive, react and grow from feedback.”
The cohort runs from Tuesday, October 27, 2020 through Wednesday, February 24, 2021, meeting virtually every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.
