Rankings on the Rise

The Lubar College of Business has advanced in two national rankings this spring, a signal of a growing reputation among business schools across the country.

U.S. News & World Report: 2023-24 Best Part-Time MBA Ranking

The Lubar College advanced ten positions to #98 in the U.S. News & World Report Best Part-Time MBA Rankings. “It’s great to break into the top 100 of the U.S. News ranking,” says Dean Kaushal Chari. “We’re really proud of our growth on this year’s list and the recognition it brings for our program.”

The rankings are based on a peer assessment score from other AACSB business school deans and MBA program directors, the part-time student ratio, total number of part-time students, GMAT/GRE scores, undergraduate grade point average, and work experience.

Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools of 2023 Ranking

The Lubar College of Business undergraduate program was ranked 91st in the nation in the Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools of 2023 ranking – moving up three spots from the 2022 ranking. The Lubar College is one of only two business schools in Wisconsin to be ranked.

The ranking is based on admissions standards, student experience, and career outcomes.

“At Poets&Quants, we believe three components best measure the undergraduate business school experience: the quality and diversity of students enrolling in a program; the ability of a B-school to nurture, challenge, and grow those young minds; and how the market and world’s top employers respond to those graduates when leaving the school.”

Poets&Quants began ranking undergraduate business programs in 2016. This is the second year that the Lubar College has been ranked.
