Navid Bahmani  |  Marketing
Navid Bahmani is a doctoral student in Marketing. His research interests include social media analytics and branding, mobile retailing, services marketing, the Internet of Things, and time series econometrics. Prior to joining UW-Milwaukee as a PhD student, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from UW-Madison and his master’s degree in Marketing from UW-Milwaukee.

Deepika Gopukumar  |  Management Information Systems
Deepika is a doctoral student in Management Information Systems. Her dissertation topic is on “Leveraging Analytics to Improve Healthcare”. Her areas of research interest includes machine learning, deep learning, healthcare predictive analytics, hospital readmissions, and national culture and IT. She has presented her research at the Americas Conference on Information Systems. Deepika has reviewed papers for the International Conference on Information Systems, and has served as journal assistant for International Journal of Cloud Computing. She has taught courses on AI for Business, Introduction to e-Business, and Information Technology Infrastructure for Business, and worked as lead teaching assistant for the Introduction to ITM course. Prior to joining UWM, she worked in industry as a Microsoft BI Developer/Junior Product Specialist for different U.S. healthcare projects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University (India) and her M.Tech. from VIT, Vellore Institute of Technology (India).

Milad Hour  |  Marketing
Milad is a PhD candidate in Markeiting at the Lubar School of Business. His interests are in digital marketing, online consumer behavior, text mining, and implementation of statistical models in marketing analysis. He also teaches the undergraduate Business to Business Sales and Marketing as a lecturer. Milad earned a bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) and an MBA from Kharazmi University (Tehran, Iran). After four years of full-time job experience, his enthusiasm for research called him back to pursue his doctoral degree.

Ali Jamei  |  Marketing
Ali Jamei is a doctoral student in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Lubar School of Business. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Ali spent three years working for a multinational food company as a B2B sales supervisor and B2B sales manager. His research interests focus on digital marketing, social media, unstructured data analytics such as textual analysis and image analytics.

Youngeui Kim is a doctoral student in Management Information Systems. Prior to joining UWM as a PhD student, she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in social network science from the Kyung Hee University. Eunjung Lee is a doctoral student in Management Information Systems. Prior to beginning her doctoral program, she worked as a system engineer at Samsung in Hwaseong, Korea and worked for strategy team at LG in Seoul, Korea. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Kwangwoon in Seoul and her MBA at Korea University in Seoul. Her research interests include data mining, text mining, machine learning, business intelligence, and online marketing. Her research has been published in Journal of Business Analytics.

Mahsa Mardikoraem  |  Supply Chain and Operations Management
Mahsa Mardikoream is a doctoral student in the Supply Chain and Operations Management field. She holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran and a MSc. in Industrial Engineering from UWM. Her research focuses on developing data-driven models and prescriptive frameworks for operations management problems. She combines Bayesian econometrics, optimization models, and information theory to develop tools for incorporating model uncertainty, model elaborations, and uncertainty diagnostics measures for decision analysis with applications in revenue management. Mahsa has earned NSF and Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) sponsored travel awards and has presented her research at conferences sponsored by the American Statistical Association, INFORMS, and POMS. Her industry level experiences include developing and presenting data analytic models for revenue management for two Midwest companies.

Soumya Radhakrishnan  |  Organizations and Strategic Management
Soumya Radhakrishnan is a doctoral student in Organizations and Strategic Management. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kerala in India and then she completed her M.Sc in International Human Resource Management and Comparative Industrial Relations from University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Natalie Schneider is a PhD student in University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Organizations and Strategic Management program within the Lubar School of Business. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree and from Bowling Green State University with a Master in Business Administration degree. Natalie has spent several years working in human resources as well as higher education admissions and nonprofit industries. As such, her research interests include a mix of organizational behavior and strategy, covering diversity, organizational citizenship behavior, and corporate social responsibility, among other topics.
