Adam Wickersham
- Director, Graduate Student Services
As the Director of Master’s Programs at the Lubar College of Business, Adam Wickersham is primarily focused on graduate business student engagement and success. Prior to his current role, Adam served as director of the Lubar College’s Executive MBA program, of which he is also an alumnus. He also teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Adam has over 30 years of experience in the information technology field with jobs ranging from Level 3 server engineer at Hewlett-Packard, Network Engineer at Milwaukee Public Schools, Automation Manager at the Milwaukee Water Works, and Vice President of IT at Robert W. Baird.
An entrepreneur since the early 2000’s, he is currently the Managing Director of a small business-focused, full-service IT consulting agency. He created and sold a small manufacturing company as well as a cigar company. He serves as a mentor to entrepreneurs and start-up organizations, and is a frequent lecturer on topics including IT/OT convergence, IIOT, and IT change management.
In addition to his Executive MBA from UWM’s Lubar College of Business, Adam earned his BS in economics and international relations at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and was presented with an honorary doctorate in international administration from the University of Baghdad.
