Areas of Expertise

Dr. Mukhopadhyay’s current research interests are in supply chain management, reverse logistics, and quality management. He has published over 50 articles and book chapters in Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, IIE Transactions, Journal of Operations Management, Naval Research Logistics and other leading journals. He was placed 60th in a global ranking of POM researchers.

Professional Activities

Dr. Mukhopadhyay is on the editorial review board of International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management. Earlier, he was a professor of operations management at SungKyunKwan University’s Graduate School of Business in Seoul, South Korea, and an Associate Professor at the Lubar College of Business at UWM. He also taught at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and CEIBS (China Europe International Business School).
