Ms. Blankenburg teaches and consults in all areas of marketing.
Ms. Blankenburg has over 20 years of marketing experience at some of the largest corporations in America. Prior to joining the Lubar School of Business, she was Vice President and Director of Brand Consultancy at Cramer-Krasselt, helping to establish a marketing consulting practice and provide a strategic perspective to CK-Design. From 1990-2000, Ms. Blankenburg was Vice President of Publications for Pleasant Company. She was one of seven senior managers who sold the company to Mattel. Previously Ms. Blankenburg was Managing Director of Ryan Partnership, a marketing/sales promotion consulting firm in Westport, Connecticut. Some of her clients included Xerox, Kraft General Foods, General Mills, and Colgate-Palmolive. Previously she held the position of Director of Promotions at Ralston Purina in St. Louis, Missouri where she was responsible for $250 million spent in consumer promotion across 75 brands. She started her career at Pabst Brewing Company in Milwaukee and also worked for Kimberly-Clark.
