Online – Unethical Behavior Today: COVID 19 Symptom or Cause?

November 13 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Speaker: Dawn R. Elm, PhD
Professor Emerita, Business Ethics
Executive Director (Retired), Center for Ethics Practice
Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas

The recent COVID -19 pandemic in the United States has raised a number of ethical issues including, but not limited to, price gauging, significant flows of misinformation, challenges regarding individual freedom and public safety, and incivility among Americans. These issues impact not only how business ethics are taught, but also how such behaviors may be addressed in the future. Are these issues a result of COVID -19 or is the pandemic just another symptom of larger ethical issues facing us in our country at this time? Join us as Dr. Elm explores these questions and delves into the answers.
