Overview
The use of and integration of data driven decisions into your business processes is what will make or break your ability to successfully run your business. How much do you know about the way data can inform your business decisions? How can you use data to drive profitability and support your strategy? Most importantly, how can you learn the way that decisions you make affect people/process/profits upstream and downstream without risking your company’s money?
The Data Driven Decision Making workshop has you engage with data in a way that allows you to set strategy, make and act on business decisions, review data generated by those decisions, and evaluate their results against the competition in the market. You will be running your own virtual business with your team of three to four people, developing the skills while not risking a dime of the company’s money.

Session Objectives
This highly interactive workshop utilizes a robust online simulation to provide real time results of how well you use data to run your business.
• Develop an understanding of the integrated nature of business functions as it relates to data driven decision making.
• Work within a easy to use simulation grounded in ERP concepts that will increase the ability to spot “hidden expenses” including holding costs and “spoilage”, logistics, ROI, etc. and how data driven decisions can limit this waste.
• Develop, implement, and test strategies at an organizational level in a simulated environment with no financial risk.

Who Should Attend
Cross functional teams from organizations consisting of three to four people per team. The simulation is accessible for all levels of the organization while being especially impactful for those working across functions or on integrated teams.

Instructor
Tim Rutherford brings his passion for helping people identify and develop the skills needed to drive individual and organizational success to the Executive Classroom. He has extensive direct experience with sales/marketing, project implementation, strategy, operations and supply chain management, and facilitating learning that promotes successful application of concepts and ideas.
