Overview
Negotiation occurs when people want different things and want to come to an agreement that satisfies both parties. In business, this can take many forms, including client contracts, vendor agreements, project management, resource allocation requests, and more. This workshop will demystify the concept of negotiation, and present a framework that allow participants to strengthen negotiation skills, improve communication and trust, and foster better relationships.

Session Objectives
At this workshop, you will:
• Gain a better understanding of the nuances of the negotiation process
• Learn about styles of negotiation and their impact
• Define your own negotiation style
• Utilize an operational framework to improve your negotiation and communication skills

Who Should Attend
Mid- to upper-level project managers who are responsible for leading people and/or sizeable initiatives within their organization

Instructor
Joanne Lipo Zovic works as an attorney, a clinical professor, a mediator and a private training consultant. She provides negotiation and communication skills training for professionals in a variety of settings ranging from health care to higher education and from government to the private sector.
