Industry Connect is a new initiative at the Lubar School of Business to connect companies with highly-qualified business student consultants for project work, as well as Lubar faculty for applied research projects.
“We’ve got outstanding expertise within the Lubar School that can help companies advance critical projects or explore new opportunities that will make their businesses stronger,” says Dean Kaushal Chari.
Jeff Turmel, Director of Business Engagement, is leading the effort. Turmel has deep corporate experience in operations, quality, and supply chain at companies including Eastman Kodak, W.H. Brady, and a number of small- and mid-size manufacturing companies.
“We are excited to bring the many talents of UWM’s Lubar School of Business to local organizations through the Industry Connect initiative,” says Turmel. “We believe sharing our expertise in areas such as Marketing, IT, and Supply Chain can help organizations better meet their business and customer challenges.”
Spring semester student projects begin January 28.
