Lubar graduate students may participate in the Wisconsin ACG Cup, hosted annually by the Association for Corporate Growth, Wisconsin chapter. The competition is a highly realistic private equity/investment banking case study contest, where students from select Wisconsin business schools have the opportunity to show their knowledge and compete for cash prizes.
The 2015 case will be a classic buy-side investment banking scenario. The contest begins with first-round competitions that are held on campus at each school. Each team analyzes a complex business case and presents its solutions and recommendations to a panel of judges. The analysis requires a combination of corporate strategy, finance and valuation skills.
The top team from each school’s first-round contest moves on to the “Wisconsin ACG Cup” finals to be held in Milwaukee on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
