Call for abstracts is open through September 30, 2019.
According to Riveredge Nature Center, “Riveredge Nature Center’s Student Research Symposium “Connections in Nature” is held at Riveredge Nature Center, Newburg, WI. Undergraduate and graduate students from any college or university within Wisconsin are invited to present their research to an audience of their peers and interested attendees. In previous years the following schools have attended and presented their research: UW-Stevens Point, UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, UW-Parkside, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Superior, UW-Whitewater, UW- Green Bay, and Carroll University. This full-day, catered event, consists of several concurrent sessions of 20 min oral presentations as well as a poster presentation session. Space for poster presentations is limited. Students, professors, and the general public are encouraged to attend this event. Student presentation abstracts need to be approved prior to registration. Pre-registration is required for this event. All students will be notified the first week in October if their entry has been accepted.
They are accepting abstracts for the following general categories:
- Geography/Geology
- Biology / Ecology
- Chemistry
- Anthropology
- Environmental/Biological Systems
- Environmental Education
**They are very open to accepting abstracts outside of these categories**
