Dr. Erica Young, Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at UWM, will present a talk about her research, entitled ‘Of Sea and Sand and Sarracenia’. Dr. Young is a plant ecophysiologist who studies microbial, algal and flowering plant communities and explores how members of those communities acquire resources, respond to environmental stress, and drive biogeochemical nutrient cycles.
