Dr. Madhusudan Dey was recently featured in an In Focus article discussing his research into protein folding and disease. Dr. Dey’s research focuses on the unfolded protein response, UPR, found within cells. The UPR works to solve issues with protein folding.

Dey research has mapped the role of a new protein within the UPR. Dr. Dey and his lab are working to continue discovering the complexities of the UPR and other molecules within the cell and the roles that contribute to the development of disease.
