The application process is now open for scholarships and awards in the Department of Biological Sciences. The application deadline is February 20, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

Students who wish to be considered must have a completed general profile on file in the UWM Scholarship Portal. Your profile is a one-time set up that will match you with all available scholarships and awards. Access the portal here.

Complete the general application AND the College of Letters & Science application. Please upload a transcript that includes your Fall 2019 grades. Once you have completed these steps, there are few additional questions required by the Department of Biological Sciences. You will find a link to these questions on your main dashboard in the scholarship portal or you can search the portal for “Biological Sciences Undergraduate Student Awards” or “Biological Sciences Graduate Student Awards” or “Ruth Walker Graduating Senior Award.” Seniors who are graduating in May 2020 are ONLY eligible for the Ruth Walker Graduating Senior Award.
