Phase 2 Re-Opening 6/1/2020: UWM Audiology Group is excited to open up and begin seeing patients in the office! We have previously been serving patients via curbside care (Phase 1) since mid-March. The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. As a result, you will see some changes in our clinic scheduling and sanitizing processes.

  • All UWM AG staff will be wearing a face covering at all times and your audiologist will be wearing a face mask along with a face shield and gloves at all times.
  • Patients will answer screening questions within 24 – 48 hours before the appointment to determine potential exposure risk. Screening questions will be asked again upon arrival.
  • Patients will call the office upon arrival and wait in their vehicle until they are given the okay to enter the clinic.
  • Everyone entering the clinic will be required to wear a face mask. Cloth masks are acceptable and must cover the mouth and nose. Masks will be worn at all times within the clinic.
  • Patients will be greeted at the door and a touchless temperature check will be conducted. If 100 degrees or above, they will be asked to reschedule.
  • Patients will also be required to sanitize their hands upon arriving for their appointment. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the clinic.
  • During this first phase, only one patient will be allowed in the clinic at a time. Patients should enter alone and only be accompanied by one other individual, if necessary.
  • Between each patient, we will allow time to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize waiting areas, treatment rooms, booths, and high touch surfaces.
  • Consultations, counseling, and case history collection will be conducted via telehealth appointments whenever possible to limit in-office contact.
  • Routine and emergency hearing aid services will continue to take place via curbside care to minimize interaction.
  • Our office door will remain locked at all times. If you are in need of supplies, please call our office to place an order.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time! Our goal is to keep everyone safe and protected while in our clinic. We look forward to seeing you in our office soon!
