Atmospheric Science faculty engage in a wide range of atmospheric research. Their specializations include the following:
- climate dynamics
- cloud physics and numerical modeling
- mesoscale and synoptic meteorology
- air pollution meteorology
- data analytics
Much of our research is conducted in close collaboration with students. Graduate students conduct research in support of their M.S. thesis or Ph.D. dissertation, and undergraduate students can become involved in research through individual research projects or their Capstone course.
