Summary of Events

Open to all treble voices in grades 7-12! No advance preparation necessary. Singers will break into a 7th-8th and a 9th-12th grade choir. The event will conclude with performances from both ensembles!

7th-8th Grade
Directed by Darci Ketter, Vocal Music Teacher, Badger Middle School, West Bend, WI

9th-12th Grade
Directed by Karen Wysocky, UWM Director of Women’s Choirs

Registration

Who: Choral Directors

Deadline: Limited to the first 800 9th-12th and 300 7th-8th students registered.

Cost: $60 per school

The 2019 UWM Treble Festival is nearly at capacity. If you are still interested in participating, please e-mail Karen Wysocky at wysocky@uwm.edu.  In the e-mail, please include your name, the name of your school, how many students you would like to bring, and whether these students are middle school or high school.

Payment

Schools that have successfully registered may submit their payments through the Peck School of the Arts Box Office.

Schedule

7:15AM
Check-in & seating: Students should dress professionally and according to their school dress code. No uniform performance attire is required.

8–11:30AM
Warm-ups, rehearsal, sectionals (7th-8th only), and performance by the women of the UWM choirs.

11:30–Noon
Performances by the 7th-8th, 9th-12th, and combined choirs.

Music

Schools must provide music for each participating singer. Music can be ordered from Brass Bell which has the music available at a discount.
