At least 500 pieces of unique jewelry\, sometimes outrageous in design\, will be available for purchase. \n \nEach student is responsible for the fabrication of 20-30 pieces including rings\, pendants\, brooches\, earrings\, etc. Using materials that range from silver and gold to nontraditional materials such as concrete and rubber\, students create jewelry with an exciting twist. All the work will be available for sale to benefit the individual artists as well as Object\, a student-run Jewelry & Metalsmithing organization. Be sure to mark your calendar!

DESCRIPTION:Date & TimeFriday\, December 4\, 2026 (7:30–9:30 p.m.) \n\n\nLocationZelazo Center for the Performing Arts\, Bader Hall \n\n\nJoin the UWM Symphony Orchestra for a vibrant and seasonally inspired program celebrating the spirit of December. \nUWM’s Symphony Orchestra is comprised of graduate and undergraduate music majors\, as well as other students. The ensemble presents seven to eight concerts each year and regularly collaborates with UWM Choirs and Opera Theatre.  \nThe orchestra has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall\, the Chicago Symphony Center\, and the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. It was selected as one of two orchestras to perform at the College Orchestra Directors Association National Conference in Los Angeles and has appeared at the Wisconsin Music Educators Association State Conference. The space brings a great energy and vibe\, creating a memorable concert experience for both performers and audience. \nThe UWM Pop Ensemble is a chamber ensemble that focuses on repertoire from the Pop/Rock genres and sub-genres from the 1950’s to present day. The Ensemble focuses on collaboration and creative vision while imagining a unique take on songs presented in concerts. This ensemble is primarily comprised of music majors but is also open to music minors and non-majors. \n \n \n\nThe bar is open! They have spent the last three months researching\, planning\, and designing what our futures may look like and what it might take to get us to these outcomes. \nNearly 40 student designers are showcasing work\, which is the culmination of a semester immersed in all aspects of design: research\, strategy development\, brand development\, rapid prototyping\, testing\, production of a highly refined prototype\, and more.

DESCRIPTION:Date & TimeSunday\, December 13\, 2026 (4–5:30 p.m.) \n\n\nLocationZelazo Center for the Performing Arts\, Bader Hall and Virtual \n\n\nThis program by the UW-Milwaukee Youth Wind and Percussion Ensembles program will include selections that we have embraced as tradition on our December concert! \nUWAY musicians are enrolled in grades eight through twelve and are actively involved in their school band/music program. Artist-faculty from UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts lead rehearsals and performances. They work closely with other members of the university’s vibrant performing arts community to help student musicians further their skills by learning and performing in the university setting. Band directors and private teachers throughout southeastern Wisconsin provide additional instructional support.
