DESCRIPTION:Dates\nLocation\n\n\n\n\nOctober 30\, 2024 (7:30–9 p.m.)\nVirtual\n\n\n\n\nNina Ghanbarzadeh (Afkhamian) is a visual artist whose work is informed by the geometric and biomorphic patterns\, colors\, and textures of her Persian cultural traditions. Ghanbarzadeh emigrated from Tehran\, Iran in 2001. She earned her BFA in painting\, drawing and graphic design from the UW-Milwaukee in 2013 and completed a two-year Artist in Residence Program with Redline Milwaukee in 2015. Jill uses the pin as a messaging device to convey ideas\, make statements\, and construct narratives. His family settled in Milwaukee in 2010. While still in high school\, he began to experiment with photography\, videography\, and screen-printing. The exhibit crosses boundaries of language\, culture and time\, and embodies a variety of creative disciplines including painting\, sculpture\, printmaking\, installation and community art.

The exhibition aims to transcend borders\, cultures\, concepts\, media\, and disciplines\, offering a captivating fusion of contemporary visual communication designs and emerging trends. An expert panel of judges will evaluate the selected artworks for the international exhibition and competition\, which will then be displayed in institutions worldwide in Spring of 2024.
